Valley Bara bakery lies at the heart of the village of Trefynydd. Generations have worked, skived, flirted, fought and earned an honest living there. Then the recession bites, and the bakery workers find themselves unemployed overnight, and with no money to pay the staff redundancy they’re facing a future on the dole. With their lives in turmoil, it looks like the beginning of the end for this close-knit community.
